When we got up this morning and were in the kitchen making our breakfast, we bumped into Rob (the Bristol Rovers fan, who's from Southampton). We'd seen him in Newcastle and Coffs Harbour and now here - it's cool that we keep recognising people along the way (like when we bumped into Ashton, Demi and Kevin in Hollywood).
We decided that today we'd take another walk up to the Cape Byron lighthouse - but this time we'd walk out to the most Easterly part of Australia (which was closed off last time). It was really hot today - and the walk was really tough - but it was worth it! When we got to the lighthouse we saw dolphins and a sea-turtle swimming about in the sea.
Nikki made us toasted sarnies for our lunch and then we went into town to use some more free internet vouchers that we had. Afterwards we borrowed some bikes from our hostel and cycled out to the Apple Centre - to get an update on the MacBook. It was ready for collection - but was still not working properly, so i'll have to take it somewhere else. We cycled back to our hostel and had bangers, mash & beans for our tea - I helped by mashing the potatoes!
If this is winter - I could definitely get used to this weather!
